The following procedures are for your peace of mind prior to your stay however, we will be happy to talk to you if you have any further concerns or questions.
We politely request that if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 that you call us to postpone your stay. These include: A high temperature, a new and persistent cough and loss of taste and smell. Find out more. We strongly recommend that you download the government approved track and tracing app, to ensure we are all alerted to any guests who may pose a risk of spreading Covid-19.
Please be advised to book any restaurant reservations prior to your arrival, nearby restaurants:
Cliff House 01425 615485, Pebble Beech restaurant, Beachcomber cafe are all nearby.
Please be advised that we do not permit the eating of Takeaways in our Lounge or Bedrooms. Thanks for your understanding.
The Government again reiterated on 22.9.20, that it is compulsory to wear facemasks indoors.
However, Face coverings are not required to be worn in our Breakfast Room, where table service is operational.
In England, there are some circumstances, for health, age or equality reasons, where people are not expected to wear face coverings. Please be mindful and respectful of such circumstances, noting that some people are less able to wear face coverings, and that the reasons for this may not be visible to others.

ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN:
Our check-in times 2-4,30pm. we will ask you to give us your planned arrival time and may ask you to amend it slightly should we already have other guests arriving at the same time. Customers are requested to then contact the hotel on arrival to ensure we are able to meet and greet and are on hand to assist with your Parking, Arrival and Check-in.
BREAKFAST: 8AM - 10AM Breakfast tables are set out with your room number. A set table will be given for your room only for the duration of your stay, you will be given a choice of time during 8am-10am for Breakfast to enable social distancing. we have no buffet service available, table service only. You will have a choice of Continental breakfast (Fruit, Croissants etc) OR Full english breakfast. Tables and chairs will be sanitized between sittings, and a full deep clean, disinfection and sanitisation will be carried out at the end of each daily service.
We have heightened and enhanced our cleaning procedures to include extensive cleaning of shared surfaces throughout the day.
We have set up hand sanitising stations for you to use and we politely ask you use these when entering the building.
We have taken our communal customer toilet out of use for the foreseeable future, for the safety of our Guests and Staff. We ask that guests who are staying with us use the bathrooms in their bedrooms.
When walking through the building, we will ask that you please use your discretion and consideration by keeping a social distance of a minimum of 1+ metres between yourself and other guests. We also encourage guests to wear masks on our communal corridors.
ROOMS: We will not be able to Refresh rooms for the duration of your stay for safety of Guests & Staff. If you require any condiments (Tea bags, Bin liners, Clean cups etc) please notify staff after breakfast. Our usual high cleaning standards have been enhanced and updated to include a new risk-based approach and all team members will be trained accordingly, prior to re-opening.
Every guest bedroom and en-suite will be fully sanitised before each stay and not accessed afterwards, to ensure no contamination occurs prior to your arrival.
Fabric items such as mattresses, pillows, cushions, carpet, chairs and other furniture are sprayed with an approved sanitising solution, which is effective in killing Covid-19 but otherwise harmless to you and us.
All surfaces are thoroughly wiped down and cleaned prior to your arrival.
Our Linens and Towels are commercially washed at a temperature above 60°C for optimal disinfection . All Toiletries and Consumables are replaced before each stay
